The Rotary Clubs of the Blue Mountains come together once a year to undertake the Blue Mountains Area Command - Police Officer of the Year Awards.
This years awards were held at Katoomba RSL.
We heard a brief about each of the 22 nominated Police Officers and Administration staff and why they had been nominated by Snr staff, their peers and the community.
Five Finalist were chosen out of the amazing array of commendations, with the Blue Mountains Area Command ..Police Officer of the year going through to the NSW Police Officer of the Year.
It was a great night to recognise the dedication and commitment of our local Police Force. Congratulations to all.
