What Happens at a our Meetings?
If you've never been to a Rotary meeting before, here's what to expect.
When and where we meet
1st, 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month, Glenbrook Bowling Club, 6:30 for 7pm. Meetings usually finish by 8:30pm.
What a typical meeting looks like
- A relaxed welcome — arrive a little early for a chat over tea or coffee before things start.
- A short, informal business update — what the club's working on, and upcoming events.
- A guest speaker or member presentation — often the highlight of the evening.
- Fellowship — meetings wrap up with time to chat, connect, and unwind.
Other meeting types
- On the 2nd Tuesday of the month we hold a Club Forum — more time dedicated to club projects and other business.
- A social function may be held on the 4th Tuesday of the month, though this is often transferred to another day and/or timeslot. A great opportunity to get to know us — great fellowship.
- We hold dinner meetings for special events — for example our Excellence in Teaching and Pride of Workmanship Awards evenings.
Come along and check us out. We'd love to meet you.
