International Service Projects

International service projects bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.

The Rotary Club of Lower Blue Mountains achieve this through partnerships with other local and international Rotary clubs to address a real need that is sustainable and creates an impact on the community.

Some of our projects are listed below:-

END POLIO CAMPAIGN

Rotary is an international community that brings together leaders who step up to take on the world’s toughest challenges, locally and globally.

The eradication of polio is one of our longest standing and most significant efforts. Along with our partners, we have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries.

We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide.

The Rotary Club of Lower Blue Mountains joins thousands of other clubs around the world on World Polio Day, held annually on the 24th October holding events and fundraisers i.e Train Ride for Polio to recognize our progress in the global fight to end polio.
